I tell my children about the tour and show them my pamplets I saved in my scrapbook. We visited Stand Rock, Cold Water Canyon and Witches Gulch. 01/31/2009 "Its been 30 years since I visited the Dells, I was 13 years old, however it made a lasting impression that has always been with me. The 2 things I remember the most are the Duck tour, where we traveled on land and water. The beauty of the carved out rocks, serene water and the chance to 'drive the Duck'. In the evening we saw a local Indian dance, visited with the local indian tribe, and even assisted in making an authentic Indian basket, which we still cherish today. While the Dells seem to be very commercialized today, I hope to bring my childern, who are around the same age, for a visit this June to hopefully build similar memories." - Michele Palmyra, pa
07/22/2008 "It's been 35 years since i have been to the Dells but we went there every summer from the time i was 5 until i was 13 and it is the BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!!! Taking the boat tour was always our welcome back for the summer thing. One year, we were looking over the railing as the boats went under us (we were on the street next to the arcade and Dairy Queen!) and this little boy couldn't see so he stuck his head in between the bars. After the boats passed he realized he could not get his head out and the fire department had to come and cut the bar to free this little boys head.
