Well this is an opportunity to get close to one, and by close I mean actually pet and feed one! They eat right from your hand and they follow you. The walk through the deer areas with these animals makes it a must stop point at the Dells. The staff is friendly and it gives a close up look at these gentle animal. 07/22/2008 "A great experience....cheap too. My 2 year old son loved this park. At first when we were walking around, the deer were all sleeping or in the shade. Soon, we had probably 10 deer surrounding us letting us feed and touch. There was even a brand new baby deer that my son adored. This park was well worth the time and money. 02/01/2008 "I went to the Deer Park when I was young with my family. Years later I took my husband, then years later we took our son, and we all loved it. It never gets old. Its fun, relaxing and funny to see the deers following you and how we react. We love feeding the deer, we plan to go back again. It's the best thing to do at the Wisconsin Dells. It's for children of all ages, and adults who want to feel like kids again. There's always something interesting at each visit that makes you laugh. Just wish it was cheaper.
