Vacations are our business. As the Midwest's #1 family vacation destination, we know travel. And with some 3 million visitors coming to Wisconsin Dells each year, we've helped more than a few people plan their getaways. Along the way, we've learned a thing or two about how you can best enjoy your experience. Here are some of our favorite vacation planning tips:
Before You Leave Home...
- Make reservations in advance for holidays/weekends.
- Plan ahead so you can spend your time having fun.
- To avoid long lines, see if the attractions you plan to visit allow advance ticket sales or can tell you when lines are shorter (i.e. early in day).
- Plan rainy day activities as well as outdoor activities.
- Public transportation is limited. Make arrangements in advance for car rental/taxi service.
- Be sure to check if there is road construction before you head to Wisconsin Dells.
