The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau's Employee Entertainment Card (EEC) program was created as a tool to enrich partner employee’s knowledge of area businesses. By using this card, partner employees can better answer visitor questions and provide them with more informed recommendations.

The EEC program is an exclusive offer for WDVCB partner employees ONLY and offers them FREE “first-hand” experiences to over 30 attractions, along with special discounts at area restaurants, shops & services.

Employee Entertainment Card Voucher Order Form

Employee Entertainment Cards (EECs) are available to the following employees:

  • Individuals employed by Marketing Partner businesses in the following categories; attraction/thing to do, restaurant/bar, lodging (includes accommodations and campgrounds), retail and visitor services regardless of where the business is located. Marketing Partners signing agreements at levels 1 and 2 are limited to a maximum of 10 and 25 EEC’s per year, respectively.
  • Individuals employed by Supplier Partner businesses where the business is located in the City of Wisconsin Dells or the Village of Lake Delton. Supplier Partner businesses are limited to 10 EEC’s annually

The following guidelines apply:

  • Employees must be 14 years of age or older (12- and 13-year olds employed by their parents, who own the WDVCB partner business, are eligible as well). Please see requirements below.
  • Discounts are generally valid for a single use, (some businesses may allow multiple uses) and by the cardholder only.
  • Lost, destroyed, or misplaced cards will not be replaced.

Requirements for purchase:

  • Paycheck stub dated within past 30 days from a current partner business.
  • Photo ID (acceptable ID’s include a driver’s license, state ID, Passport and work ID). School ID, Social Security cards or Birth Certificates may be presented by 14-16-year-olds in lieu of a photo ID.
  • DayForce or other payroll software that shows the name of the WDVCB partner company issuing the paycheck will be accepted.
  • $15 cash OR an employer purchased voucher, a complimentary coupon or a $15 coupon.

Who is eligible to receive the EEC?

Employees who work for a current partner of the Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau (WDVCB). Eligible businesses include those in the Attraction, Accommodation, Campground, Restaurant, Shopping, Visitor Services and Supplier Partner (Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area only) primary markets. Employees of Supplier Partners located outside of the Wisconsin Dells/Lake Delton area are not eligible to receive EEC’s. Click here to email us your employer’s name to confirm eligibility.

I am a local resident, am I eligible to receive an EEC?

The EEC is not issued based on where you live but rather who you are employed by. Recipients of the EEC must be employed by a WDVCB partner business.

If I work for a business that is subcontracted by a business that is eligible for the card, am I eligible to receive the EEC as well?

No, unless the subcontracted business is a partner of WDVCB.

Why do I have to work for a WDVCB partner in order to get the EEC?

The Wisconsin Dells Visitor & Convention Bureau is a partnership organization and the EEC is a benefit offered only to partners of our organization.

Do you accept debit/credit cards?

 No. At this time we only accept cash.

If I received a voucher from my employer do I still need to pay the $15 cash?

No. The voucher pays for the EEC. You would only need to show a current paycheck stub and photo identification.

Do I need to bring in a paycheck stub if I am paying with a voucher?

Yes. We still need to view a legal paycheck stub for proof of employment by a WDVCB partner business.

What documents do I need to bring in order to receive an EEC?
  • Photo I.D. (Acceptable forms include a Driver’s License/State ID, Passport and Work ID, as long as it includes your photo and date of birth; employees ages 14-16 years are able to present a School ID/Birth Certificate/Social Security Card).
  • Paycheck Stub (verifying employment with a WDVCB partner within the past 30 days).
  • $15 cash (or employer-purchased voucher)
Photo ID - Will a birth certificate or Social Security Card for an ID work?

Only employees’ age 14-16 years old are able to present a Social Security Card or Birth Certificate for identification.

If I received an EEC in the past do I still need to show my current paycheck stub and photo identification?

Yes. We need to verify your identity and that you are still employed by a WDVCB partner business from year to year.

Paycheck Stub - If I have direct deposit can I show you my paycheck stub on my cell phone, Ipad or other electronic device?

Yes. As long as it shows your first & last name, name of employer and check date.

Paycheck Stub - How many months will you go back on dates when looking at a paycheck stub?

We can go back 30 days or one month from the date that you are applying for an EEC.

General Questions

Can I pick-up my spouse’s/friend’s EEC if I have their paycheck stub, cash/voucher and photo identification?

No. An updated photo (taken at the time of issuance) is required.

If I have an EEC, can my spouse, mother, daughter, etc. use it?

No. The card is only valid for the person to whom the card was issued to and whose name and photo appear on the card.

If I lose my EEC can I pay for another one?

 No. We only issue one card per person per year. EEC states that “the card cannot be replaced for any reason”.

How long does it take to process an EEC?

If you have your photo identification, paycheck stub and $15 cash (or voucher) all available, it only takes 3-4 minutes to process an EEC. However, during peak times of the year (June – August) there may be a wait. We appreciate your patience and are making changes in order to make the process more efficient.

How long is the EEC valid for?

The card is valid January 1 - December 31 of the year it is issued. Some businesses listed on the card operate seasonally.
