Since the 1850s, visitors have been coming to the Wisconsin Dells area to witness the beautiful sandstone formations and scenic bluffs of the Wisconsin River. Today, guests still flock here to take in the sights. Filling up their camera roll and social media pages with shots of the natural beauty that first brought people here, as well as the man-made attractions that keep them coming back. Lucky for you, we’ve compiled our top 5 spots to snap yourself(ie) while visiting Wisconsin Dells!

First up, on a Duck, the WWII amphibious vehicle, not the waterfowl variety. You’re on the Wisconsin River with the unusual cliff formations creating a beautiful picturesque background-nothing is more classic Wisconsin Dells than this!

Coming in a hot second place is in front of a massive wave pool or gigantic dump bucket at one of the outdoor waterparks. Pro tip: don’t get your phone wet!

Third, among the 30,000 colorful blooms at Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf mini-golf course, if you get a photo of all 91 holes you’ll fill up your phone storage before you know it.

Don’t forget to take a selfie with Tubie at Wilderness Resort, Noah’s Ark Waterpark or Mt. Olympus Water & Theme Park!

And last but certainly not least, take a stroll along the Scenic River Walk, it starts in downtown Wisconsin Dells and snake to the Illinois Avenue Bridge, just about anywhere along the walk you’ll see incredible vistas high above the Wisconsin River.
