Roots and Boots

Event Overview

AARON TIPPIN: Tippin celebrates 25 years in country music this year. Known for his distinct voice and blue-collar hits like “You’ve Got To Stand For Something” and “Workin’ Man’s PhD,” Aaron’s career took off after signing with RCA in 1990. Though he almost gave up on being a recording artist, his success as a songwriter led to big opportunities, including performing for troops with Bob Hope’s daughter.

SAMMY KERSHAW: Kershaw is a country music icon with over 5 million albums sold, including three platinum and six gold records. Known for his powerful voice, Kershaw helped shape the ‘90s country scene with hits like “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “Queen of My Doublewide Trailer,” and “I Can’t Reach Her Anymore.” Often compared to George Jones, Kershaw embraced his traditional country sound, earning him recognition as one of the genre’s top voices.

COLLIN RAYE: Raye shot to fame with his 1991 hit "Love, Me" and went on to release memorable songs like "In This Life," "Not That Different," and "I Want You Bad." His music, which often tackles emotional and social issues, has been used in weddings, memorials, and recovery programs. His song “Little Rock” even inspired thousands to seek help for addiction.
